ACC Emerging Asia cup 2023 IND A vs PAK A : All you need to know

The fifth edition of ACC Men’s Emerging Asia Cup 2023 has already started from 13th July in Sri Lanka. The tournament featured a total of 8 teams including five ‘A’ teams and the top three teams from the ACC Men’s Premier Cup 2023, where ‘A’ teams from UAE & Oman and Nepal National cricket team took part. 

Biggest rivals in cricketing history and two undefeated sides of the tournament India A and Pakistan A, will face each other on July 19. Both teams have been in good form in the tournament and are coming off dominant wins over UAE A and Nepal. The Men in Blue are currently in the top position in Group B. A second-string Indian side with a lot of inexperienced youngsters will face a tough challenge from Pakistan with some experienced players who have already represented them at the top level. 

The Yash Dhull led side had already won the previous match against UAE A and now have two consecutive wins in the competition. The team displayed a perfect performance in all the departments in both the matches. The Indian side will be led by a group of promising youngsters who already have showcased their skills on the domestic stage. Players like Yash Dhull, Dhruv Jurel, Sai Sudarshan and Abhishek Sharma will be looking to make a lasting impression following their brilliant IPL season. 

With the cricketing rivalry between India and Pakistan being one of the most intense and storied in the cricket world, this match holds special significance. Live telecast of ACC Emerging Asia Cup 2023 India A & Pakistan A will be available on the Star Sports Network in India. 

The eight-team competition is divided into two groups of four teams in the group stage and is followed by two semifinals and the final. The four teams in each group will play each other in a round-robin format with the top two sides from each group qualifying for the semis. 

Sri Lanka A and Bangladesh A have already qualified for the semifinals from Group A and India A and Pakistan A from Group B. 

The final of ACC Men’s Emerging Asia Cup 2023 will be played on Sunday 23 July from 02:00 PM at R. Premadasa Stadium Colombo, Sri Lanka.
