16 Players With Most League Goal Involvements across Europe's Big 5

A list with statistics of the players who have the highest number cumulatively of goals and assists so far this season across all teams in Europe's big 5 as at 23rd January, 2020.
 

14. Starting this list with a cumulative of 17 league goals and assists is Raul Jimenez. The Wolverhampton Wanderers' record signing has continued the form which saw him win the club's 2018/2019 players' player of the season award following his impressive performances on loan from Benfica.

14. At joint 14th spot is Senegalese superstar, Sadio Mané. The 2019 African player of the year has been in very impressive form for the Reds who are currently 16 points clear at the top of the English Premier league table after 23 match weeks. 

The Liverpool talisman has scored 11 goals from 26 shots on target and 30 big chances with a shots conversion rate of 22.45%. He has also made 6 assists to his teammates with 12 key passes and 18 chances created in total.

3. Kevin De Bruyne jointly holds 3rd spot with his 22 league goal involvements. The former Chelsea and VfL Wolfsburg midfielder returned this season with a bang. After missing most of last season to injury, the Belgian has started almost all of Manchester City's league matches this season, and to devastating effect too. 

His defense-opening passes and eye for goal have ensured that he's been involved in 33.85% of Manchester City's league goals this season. That's even more impressive considering that Man City are one of Europe's highest scoring teams. 

He has reminded us all of the quality of performances he showed in 2017/2018 that got him touted as the world's best midfielder and that his performances are due to his permanent class rather than any temporary form. He has also helped his team's cause with 2 assists, 11 key passes and 13 chances created.
 

2. Timo Wemer is second only to Ciro Immobile for league goal involvements this season with 26. The 23-year old has blistering pace, trickery, body strength and a keen eye for goal and pass all in his arsenal.

Infact he has been directly involved in 60.87% of Lazio's 46 goals, the most by quite a distance of the players on this list. 

The 29-year old Italian international has scored 23 goals from 40 shots on target and 35 big chances with a shots to goal conversion rate of 29.87%. He also has 5 assists, 12 key passes and 17 chances created. If Lazio's hitman's purple patch allows him to continue in this rich vein of form, he can finally establish himself as one of world football's most prolific finishers.

Goal involvements are crucial in determining the recipient for the many Best Player awards and each of these 16 players would be looking to increase their chances of nicking one, or at least better their reputation and standing in World Football.
