The Euro 2020 was expected to be scheduled in June 2020, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it has been rescheduled for 2021.
To celebrate 60 years of the Euro championships, UEFA decided to allocate 11 host cities to stage the Euro 2020 matches. Hence, let us get familiar with the venues and the matches the stadium shall host for Euro 2020.
1) Wembley Stadium - London, England
We kickstart our list of the inconic venues for the Euro 2020 with Wembley Stadium, London.
One of England's most priced stadium, Wembley hosts the home matches for the England National Team, FA Cup Finals, Play-off matches for Championship, League One, and League Two of England's lower-tier leagues.
The stadium will be hosting all of England's group matches along with the two semi-finals and the Euro 2020 Final.

2) Baku Olympic Stadium - Baku, Azerbaijan
One of the scenic venues in the world football, Baku Olympic Stadium was opened in 2015. It is the host stadium of Azerbaijan's National Team and is one of the main venues for the Euro 2020.
Baku Olympic stadium also hosted the UEFA Europa League Final in 2019 between Chelsea and Arsenal where Chelsea won 4-1

3) Stadio Olimpico - Rome, Italy
Third on our list of the iconic venues for Euro 2020 is Italy's Stadio Olimpico Stadium.
Stadio Olimpico is the largest sports venues in Rome and is the home ground for AS Roma and Lazio Football Clubs in Seria A.
The stadium also hosted the 1990 FIFA World Cup Final between West Germany and Argentina. The Euros kickstarts in this stadium on June 11 with match between Italy and Turkey.

4) Allianz Arena - Munich, Germany
The Allianz Arena is one of the most iconic venues for football fans. It is the 1st stadium in the world with a full color-changing exterior.
The stadium is the home ground for Bundesliga Champions Bayern Munich and is the second-largest stadium in Germany.
The stadium boasts of holding a lot of important matches in the History of the Game, Namely - 2006 FIFA World Cup Semi-Finals, UEFA Champions League Final - 2012.

5) Krestovsky Stadium - Saint Petersburg, Russia
Also known as the Gazprom Arena is the home arena for the Russian Premier League Champions FC Zenit Saint Petersburg.
This stadium was also one of the host venues for the 2018 FIFA World Cup 2018.

6) Puskas Arena - Budapest, Hungary
The Puskas Arena in Hungary will be one of the venues hosting the Group F matches for the Euro 2020.
Puskas Arena opened in 2017 is a 4 star rated football arena in Budapest. This stadium is the home ground for the Hungarian National Team and has also staged a lot of Europa League's and Champion's League Group stage matches.

7) Estadio de La Cartuja - Seville, Spain
The stadium has been occasionally used by Spain National Team as their home ground in recent years where the last home game was played in 2021 itself. It is the 6th largest football venues in Spain and has also hosted the 2003 UEFA Cup Final Between Celtic and Porto.

8) Arena Nationala - Bucharest, Romania
This stadium was inaugurated in 2011 with a retractable roof and is the home ground for the Romania National Football Team.
Another of the venues which will be hosting the Group C matches for Euro 2020, the stadium also hosts the Ligue 1 Clubs FCSB and Dinamo Bucuresti. Arena Nationala also hosted the UEFA Europa League final in 2012

9) Johan Cruyff Arena - Amsterdam, Netherlands
The Johan Cruyff Arena was earlier known as Amsterdam Arena which was later renamed in 2017 in memory of Ajax Legend Johan Cruff.
The stadium is the home ground of Dutch Champions AFC Ajax. The stadium has earlier hosted Euro 2000, 1998 Champions League Final, and 2013 UEFA Europa League Final and will be one of the iconic venues for Euro 2020 to host the Group D matches.

10) Hampden Park - Glasgow, Scotland
Hampden Park is the Home Ground for Scotland's National Football team. It is also the home ground of the Scottish League One Club - Queen's Park. The stadium has also hosted a UEFA Cup Final and will be one of the venues for the Euro 2020 Group D matches.

11) Parken Stadium - Copenhagen, Denmark
The stadium was inaugurated in 1992 as the Home Ground for the Danish Football Club FC Copenhagen and Denmark National Football Team and will be one of the venues hosting the Group B matches for the Euro 2020.
