South Korea were steering down the barrel of defeat until the 91st minute before Son Heung Min made a bursting run to set up Hwang Hee-chan to score the winner. The goal secured Korea’s only win of the group stage that propelled them to take the runners-up spot in Group H. Earlier they drew blank against Uruguay in their opening match while facing a 3-2 defeat against Ghana in the second group game.
