The five biggest stars in WWE SmackDown right now

It's no secret that Wrestling too has affected by the lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic. WrestleMania 36 was held at the WWE performance center, without any crowd. Still, unlike other sports, the WWE was able to hold its marquee event and is continuing with its weekly productions of Raw and SmackDown. After being labelled as an essential service in Florida, there are no signs of stopping.

Roman Reigns 

His real name is Leati Joseph Anoaʻi. Before taking to wrestling, he played as a professional gridiron football player. He made his main roster debut in 2012 as part of The Shield alongside Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins. Reigns entered singles competition in 2014. He is a four-time world champion in WWE, and boasts of host of titles. He is the 2015 Royal Rumble winner, and was named the 2014 Superstar of the Year. He had headlined four straight WrestleManias.

'The Fiend' Bray Wyatt 

Born as Windham Lawrence Rotunda, Bray Wyatt wrestled under the ring name Husky Harris in WWE's main roster from 2010 to 2011. He is now the villainous leader of The Wyatt Family and wrestles under the ring name of 'The Fiend' Bray Wyatt. The Fiend is his alter ego in his show - Firefly Fun House - in WWE programming. After debuting as the character of The Fiend, he won the Universal Championship for the first time. He has also been part of winning SmackDown Tag Team Championship and Raw Tag Team Championship before. 

Braun Strowman 

He was born as Adam Scherr. He is the current WWE Universal Champion, which is his first World title. Previously, he has been a former WWE Intercontinental Champion. He was also part of two-time WWE Raw Tag Team Champions. He holds quite a few records under his belt. He holds the record of most eliminations in a single Elimination Chamber match with five. He also headlined the first night of WrestleMania 36. 

Sasha Banks 

Her real name is Mercedes Justine Kaestner-Varnado. Before SmackDown, Banks wrestled on the independent circuit, for Chaotic Wrestling, and was also part of NXT and the Raw. She was the first woman to compete in a Hell in a Cell match in 2016. She and her partner Bayley won the inaugural WWE Women's Tag Team Championship at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view in February 2019. 

Bayley 

She is a two-time SmackDown Women's Champion. She was born as Pamela Rose Martinez and wrestled as Davina Rose on the independent circuit before she was given the Bayley moniker on WWE. She is the only woman to have won the Raw, SmackDown, NXT and Women's Tag Team Championships. She won the women's Money in the Bank ladder match in 2019, and on the same night, she won her first SmackDown Women's Championship. She is also the first woman to successfully defend a WWE Championship in Saudi Arabia at Super ShowDown.
