Ousmanne Dembele oozes of class and ungodly amount of talent, someone who does not have a weak foot and if not for injuries early on in his career was tipped to be a  direct replacement for Neymar down the line. Although, he did not have a fairytale ending to his career in Spain, he has time and again showed the world that when he decides to weave his magic, the world has no choice but to sit and take notice of his breath-taking skills and ball striking ability as a wide forward or a winger.

He has turned out for the likes of Rennes, Dortmund, Barcelona and has regularly featured for the France senior squad winning a world cup with them in 2018. Now with PSG, Ousmane Dembele continues to thrill the fans with his goals and assists, the latest coming in PSG’s Champions League quarter-final win over his former club.

10. Goal vs. Tottenham Hotspur

In the Champions League fixture between Barcelona and Tottenham in 2018, Dembele scored one of the finest goals in his career as he managed to win the ball from his opposite number. He weaved his way  through the white shirts and dribbled past two players before wrong-footing, Harry Winks to score a left-footed goal past an stunned Lloris to hand Barcelona a well-deserved 1st leg victory at Nou Camp. 

9. Goal vs. Bayern Munich

In the Der Klassiker between Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich, Dembele proved to be the difference between these two rivals in the derby when he scored on his left foot to rocket home  a well-taken goal past Manuel Neuer. The match ended in the favor of Borussia Dortmund who secured a 3-2 win in that match. He would go on to have an outstanding debut outing in that campaign netting 6 goals while assisting another 11.

8. Goal vs. Marseille

Dembele, a teenage Ligue 1 sensation who was making waves, skipped past multiple players like they were training cones from the centre of the field to score a long-range goal off a deflection by a Marseille player. Rennes won that match by a thrilling 5-2 win over Marseille which will go down as one of their best performances in  their recent history. In this match, Dembele scored a goal and played his part in the huge win by creating chances for his team.

A goal for the highlights reel and one that won't be forgotten anytime soon he scored for France against Italy from the edge of the box is one of many he will remember for a long time. He curled a right-footed shot into the top corner moments before it hit the woodwork with his first-time attempt.

Having been spotted by Lionel Messi in the right-hand corner of the box, Dembele took a chance with  first-time strike which neither Thibaut Courtois nor Rudiger was able to  put out of their net as he hit it with  tremendous power into the top right corner of the goalpost. This was the first goal he scored for Barcelona with fans acknowledging his display and the taste of what he could potentially deliver week in week out that he had just shown with a huge round of applause from the fans.

As Dembele found himself 3 vs 1 against Villarreal’s players, he somehow conjured up something magical and  dribbled past them to score a delightful chip goal over the Villareal keeper Asenjo to register a dominant 5-1 win for his team. In this match, he ended up with  a brace with his second goal being the best of all the goals that helped Barcelona remain unbeaten in that season.

After a pass from Griezmann found Dembele on the right wing, Dembele cut in on his favoured left foot to slot in  a thunderbolt in the top right-hand corner of the goal to give the lead to Barcelona. Goal contributions from Griezmann, Messi and Pedri gave Barcelona a well-deserved 5-2 win on that day.

Dembele scored the unthinkable as he has shown the penchant of making the impossible possible and in this match as he glided past Real Sociedad’s defence like it was a video game with his trickery before hitting a first-time left-footed strike into the bottom corner. This strike put Barcelona in a strong position in that match.

2. Goal vs. Manchester United

This goal will blow you away if you watch it the first time and it definitely managed to leave those in awe who were lucky or in case of United fans, unlucky enough to be on the receiving end of Dembele magic  as he guided past multiple Manchester United players from the halfway line to finish a right-footed strike from outside the box past the gloves of United cup keeper at that time Sergio Romero. It was a strike that showed us that Dembele does indeed posses the talent to produce something extraordinary.

A young Dembele caused a social media storm in this otherwise run of the mill pre season summer’s friendly match when he dribbled past two Juventus players and smashed a left-footed  thunderbolt of a strike into the right-hand corner of the post, which was impossible to save for the goalkeeper or even for a robot keeper if there is any to begin with.
