Portugal Team for Euro 2021: A Perfect Blend of Rising Stars and Seasoned Legends
With the Euros on the horizon, Portugal coach Fernando Santos released the team list which would be looking to defend their Euro Championship crown at Euro 2021.
As one would expect, the Juventus talisman, Cristiano Ronaldo would be joining the Portugal team for the Euro 2021 along with Manchester United star, Bruno Fernandes and the Manchester City midfielder, Bernando Silva.
The recent LaLiga winner, Joao Felix will also make his way into the attack for the team. Portugal has called up Frankfurt’s Andre Silva into their squad, who has been one of the most overlooked strikers this season. Liverpool’s Diogo Jota will complete this phenomenal attack for the Portugal team at the Euro 2021.
Portugal’s defense is no less than its attack. Manchester City’s Ruben Dias, who has arguably been the best defender in the English League last season, will join the defense along with seasoned Portuguese defender, Pepe.
The Portugal national team is a perfect blend of young stars and experienced legends, giving the team a good balance going into the Euros this summer.
Portugal’s Group F is considered the group of death as it contains France, Germany, and Hungary.
