Saul “Canelo” Alvarez is a modern-day great, even more so after being the first-ever Undisputed Super Middleweight Champion in the history of boxing. 

Canelo’s resume is nothing short of amazing, he is someone who turned pro at the age of 15 and knocked out people twice his age. 

Saul "Canelo" Alvarez made it big after his fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr. Where he would lose his first match ever as a professional boxer, which to this day is his only ever loss. Canelo went up to the light middleweight and won his first-ever World Championship Belt in professional boxing. 

The loss against Mayweather seemed to have positive effects on the youngster as he only went on to get stronger. 

Canelo is also one of the biggest names in World boxing, bringing in huge Pay per View numbers. He has generated over $600 million in PPV buys throughout his career with the biggest one being against Floyd Mayweather Jr. With so many buys, he’s made over $150 million throughout his career.

Out of the 57 wins, Canelo has knocked out 39 of his opponents, a devastating number for a middleweight fighter. The fact that Canelo is only 31 is mind-blowing, he might end up with 70 professional wins by the end of his career.

He might be looking for a title shot in the 175 pound division once again, or he might go back down to middleweight and fight Gennady Golovkin for the third time.
