Spain vs Brazil: Road to the Tokyo Olympics Final

Spain had a slow start into the group stages of the tournament, having won only one group game against Australia and drawing the rest two against Argentina and Egypt. 

En route to the final, they played against Ivory Coast and Japan. Spain defeated Ivory Coast 5-2, their only game where they scored more than one goal, and in the semifinal, Spain U23 edged out Japan with a 1-0 narrow victory. 

On the other hand, Brazil U23 has been excellent in the tournament. They won two and drew one in group games, trouncing Germany 4-2 and Saudi Arabia 3-1, before settling for a draw against Ivory Coast. 

In quarters, they managed to eke out a 1-0 win over Egypt and faced their South American counterpart Mexico, wherein they prevailed 4-1 in penalties.
